Valiant boasts multiple high-level scientific research and development platforms, including the National-level Enterprise Technology Center, Shandong Provincial Technology Innovation Center, Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center, and Shandong Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Center. To date, the company has mastered production technologies for over 10,000 compounds, among which more than 4,000 products have been commercialized. As of the end of December 2025, Valiant (including its subsidiaries) has been granted 862 invention patents, with an additional 491 invention patents pending approval.

The company conducts cooperative research and joint talent training with more than a dozen renowned universities and research institutions, such as Tsinghua University, Dalian University of Technology, Shandong University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Harbin Engineering University, Nanjing University, Nanjing Tech University, Soochow University, Shanghai University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Shaanxi Normal University, Shandong Normal University, Yantai University, and Ludong University.
